The Basque biopharmaceutical company Histocell\nand the company Cardiva join forces to introduce the innovative\nwound care product Reoxcare throughout the Spanish healthcare\nsystem.<\/span><\/o:p><\/p>

The Basque biopharmaceutical company\nHistocell, specialised in regenerative medicine, has developed and manufactures\nReoxcare, an antioxidant treatment of natural ingredients for the healing of\nchronic wounds, after years of research into oxidative stress.<\/span><\/o:p><\/p>

Histocell produces Reoxcare in its\nmedical device manufacturing plant inaugurated in 2018 in Larrabetzu,\nBizkaia. Through this agreement with Cardiva, specialised in the\nthe commercialisation of medical devices in the hospital system, Histocell\nstrengthens its commercial capacity throughout the national territory.<\/span><\/o:p><\/p>

“This is a very important agreement\nfor Histocell that reinforces the company’s strategy focused on the\ndevelopment and manufacture of innovative products for regenerative medicine.\nHistocell is committed to collaborating with leading companies in the distribution of\nhealthcare products, as is the case of Cardiva, for the commercialisation of\nits product Reoxcare”, Julio Font – Histocell<\/span><\/o:p><\/p>

Cardiva will distribute Reoxcare throughout\nSpain from its central warehouse, located in the business area of Lezama. The\ncompany’s president, Ignacio Vega, emphasises that “this agreement responds to\nCardiva’s commitment to provide patients with innovative medical solutions\nthat improve health and to be at the forefront of the latest\nadvances in the therapeutic areas\nin which we are involved”. Thanks to this union, the innovative product Reoxcare will enter\nthe entire national territory. So far it is marketed in the Basque Country,\nNavarre and Galicia, with Osakidetza (Basque Health Service) and Osasunbidea\n(Navarre Health Service) being the main customers today.<\/span><\/o:p><\/p>

In 2020, Reoxcare has reached 60%\nof the Basque Country’s health system’s OSIs, and is also present in the\nPamplona Health Area, the largest in the Navarre region. Thus,\nit has managed to double sales compared to 2019, sales that it expects\ntriple in 2021 thanks to the agreement with Cardiva.<\/span><\/o:p><\/p>

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p>

With this agreement, Histocell\ncontinues to expand its network of distributors present in different international markets\nsuch as the Netherlands, Italy, Colombia, Chile and Mexico, which\nwill soon be joined by China, Singapore, Malaysia and Egypt.<\/span><\/o:p><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
